Ratan Tata completed his schooling from Campion School, Mumbai, and later went on to study architecture and structural engineering from Cornell University in the United States. He completed his B.S. in architecture engineering in 1962.

Ratan Tata started his career working in Tata Steel, one of the major companies in the Tata Group. He worked on the shop floor of Tata Steel, gaining valuable experience. He later worked in various Tata companies before being appointed the director-in-charge of The National Radio and Electronics Company Limited (NELCO) in 1971.

In 1981, Ratan Tata was appointed the chairman of Tata Industries, the group’s other major holding company, where he was responsible for transforming it into a group strategy think tank and a promoter of new journey in high technology businesses. He became the chairman of the Tata Group in 1991, succeeding J.R.D. Tata, and he led the Tata Group for more than two decades.

Under his leadership, the Tata Group expanded globally, acquiring major companies in various sectors, including steel, automobiles, and IT services.

Early Life and Education

Vasundhara Raje was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into the Scindia family, which has a rich history in Indian politics and administration. She completed her schooling from Presentation Convent, Kodaikanal, and later studied at Sophia College in Mumbai. After finishing her education, she entered politics.

She served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan for the first time from December 2003 to December 2008. During her tenure, she implemented several developmental and infrastructural projects in the state. She was re-elected as the Chief Minister in December 2013 and served until December 2018.

Dussehra 2023: दशहरे का शुभ त्यौहार बिल्कुल नजदीक है। इसे विजयादशमी, दशहरा या दशईं के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, यह दिन बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत का प्रतीक है, क्योंकि इस दिन, भगवान राम ने राक्षस राजा रावण को हराया था और माँ दुर्गा ने महिषासुर पर विजय प्राप्त की थी। यह आश्विन महीने के दसवें दिन पड़ता है

नवरात्रि के नौ दिनों के बाद दसवें दिन मां दुर्गा के भक्त दशहरा बहुत धूमधाम से मनाते हैं। जबकि दशहरा शब्द उत्तर भारतीय राज्यों और कर्नाटक में अधिक प्रचलित है। विजयादशमी पश्चिम बंगाल में लोकप्रिय है। बंगाली लोग दुर्गा विसर्जन करके त्योहार मनाते हैं क्योंकि भक्त पवित्र जल निकायों में विसर्जन के लिए मां दुर्गा की मूर्तियों को ले जाते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, देश भर में राम लीलाएँ आयोजित की जाती हैं, बड़े पैमाने पर मेलों का आयोजन किया जाता है और रावण के पुतलों को जलते हुए देखने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में लोग उमड़ते हैं।

दशहरा का इतिहास

दशहरा के त्यौहार की उत्पत्ति का वर्णन महान हिंदू महाकाव्य रामायण से किया गया है जिसमें कहा गया है कि भगवान विष्णु के आठवें अवतार भगवान राम ने सतयुग में दस सिर वाले शैतान रावण का वध किया था, क्योंकि रावण ने भगवान राम की पत्नी सीता का अपहरण कर लिया था। भगवान राम के साथ उनके भाई लक्ष्मण और एक अनुयायी हनुमान के साथ बंदरों की एक सेना थी जो रावण से लड़ने और सीता को वापस लाने के लिए लंका (रावण का राज्य) तक गई थी। अपने प्रस्थान पर, राम ने साहस और शक्ति की देवी का आशीर्वाद लेने के लिए दुर्गा से प्रार्थना की। भगवान राम ने अंततः रावण का वध किया और बुराई पर विजय प्राप्त की। इस दिन को मनाने के लिए विजयादशमी या दशहरा मनाया जाता है।
