Bhagat Singh Biography: Bhagat Singh was an influential figure in India’s struggle for independence against British colonial rule. Born on September 28, 1907, in a Sikh family in Punjab, Bhagat Singh was deeply impacted by the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919 and the prevailing political unrest.

He joined the National College in Lahore, where he came under the influence of revolutionary movements and ideologies. Singh became involved with various nationalist organizations, including the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA), advocating for complete independence from British rule through revolutionary means.

One of the pivotal moments in Bhagat Singh’s life was the Lahore Conspiracy Case. In 1928, he and his associates plotted to avenge the death of Lala Lajpat Rai, who died protesting against the Simon Commission. They mistakenly identified J.P. Saunders as the officer responsible and assassinated him. Following this, Singh and his comrades threw leaflets proclaiming their intentions and took responsibility for the act. This event led to Singh becoming a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement.

In 1930, Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw non-lethal bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly in Delhi to protest against oppressive laws and demand equal rights for Indians. They were subsequently arrested and tried for the bombing. During the trial, Singh used the court as a platform to express his revolutionary ideas, seeking to inspire the youth to fight against colonial oppression.

Bhagat Singh Biography

Despite numerous appeals for clemency, Bhagat Singh, along with Rajguru and Sukhdev, was sentenced to death. On March 23, 1931, they were executed in Lahore Central Jail, turning them into martyrs for the cause of India’s freedom.

Bhimrao Ambedkar biography: Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, was a prominent Indian jurist, economist, politician, and social reformer who dedicated his life to fighting against social discrimination, particularly the caste system prevalent in India.

भीमराव रामजी अम्बेडकर, जिन्हें डॉ. बी.आर. के नाम से जाना जाता है। अम्बेडकर एक प्रमुख भारतीय न्यायविद्, अर्थशास्त्री, राजनीतिज्ञ और समाज सुधारक थे, जिन्होंने अपना जीवन सामाजिक भेदभाव, विशेषकर भारत में प्रचलित जाति व्यवस्था के खिलाफ लड़ने के लिए समर्पित कर दिया।

Born on April 14, 1891, in a Mahar caste (considered untouchable at that time) in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, Ambedkar faced discrimination and social exclusion from a young age due to the prevailing caste-based hierarchy in India. Despite facing immense obstacles, he pursued education with great determination and became one of the most educated individuals of his time.

14 अप्रैल, 1891 को मध्य प्रदेश के महू में महार जाति (उस समय अछूत मानी जाने वाली) में जन्मे अंबेडकर को भारत में प्रचलित जाति-आधारित पदानुक्रम के कारण छोटी उम्र से ही भेदभाव और सामाजिक बहिष्कार का सामना करना पड़ा। भारी बाधाओं का सामना करने के बावजूद, उन्होंने बड़े दृढ़ संकल्प के साथ शिक्षा प्राप्त की और अपने समय के सबसे शिक्षित व्यक्तियों में से एक बन गए।

Ambedkar obtained multiple degrees, including in economics, law, and political science, both from India and abroad. He earned a doctorate from Columbia University in the United States and further pursued higher studies at the London School of Economics.

अम्बेडकर ने भारत और विदेश दोनों से अर्थशास्त्र, कानून और राजनीति विज्ञान सहित कई डिग्रियाँ प्राप्त कीं। उन्होंने संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में कोलंबिया विश्वविद्यालय से डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि प्राप्त की और आगे की पढ़ाई लंदन स्कूल ऑफ इकोनॉमिक्स से की।

Bhimrao Ambedkar

Throughout his life, Dr. Ambedkar fought against social injustices and championed the cause of the oppressed classes, especially the Dalits (formerly known as “untouchables”). He played a significant role in drafting the Indian Constitution and was appointed as the chairman of the drafting committee. His efforts led to the inclusion of provisions for social justice, equality, and fundamental rights in the Constitution of independent India.

Apart from his political endeavors, Ambedkar advocated for social reforms and worked tirelessly for the upliftment of the marginalized sections of society. He emphasized education as a means of empowerment and established various educational institutions to provide opportunities for the socially disadvantaged.

Ambedkar embraced Buddhism as a means to reject the caste system, and in 1956, he converted to Buddhism along with thousands of his followers in a mass ceremony.
