Navratri 2021: नवरात्रि एक संस्कृत शब्द है जो नौ रातों का अनुवाद करता है और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण हिंदू त्योहारों में से एक है, जो इस साल 7 अक्टूबर से शुरू होगा और 15 अक्टूबर को समाप्त होगा।

तिथि और समय

इस वर्ष, कलश स्थापना 7 अक्टूबर, 2021 को की जाएगी, और समय सुबह 9:33 बजे से 11:31 बजे तक है। इसके अलावा कलश स्थापना भी शाम 3:33 बजे से शाम 5:05 बजे तक की जा सकती है।

नवरात्रि की शुरुआत पर्वतों के राजा पार्वती की बेटी शैलपुत्री की पूजा से होती है, जिन्हें भगवान शिव की पत्नी के रूप में पूजा जाता है।

इतिहास

पूरे देश में नवरात्रि का पर्व बड़े ही हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है। नवरात्रि या शारदा नवरात्रि हर साल आने वाले चार नवरात्रि में से सबसे अधिक मनाए जाने वाले नवरात्रि में से एक है। यह आश्विन मास के शुक्ल पक्ष के पहले दिन से शुरू होकर नौ दिनों तक चलता है और अश्विन शुक्ल नवमी को समाप्त होता है।

नवरात्रि शब्द संस्कृत के एक शब्द से लिया गया है जो ‘नव’ को नौ और ‘रात्रि’ को रात के रूप में अनुवादित करता है। प्रत्येक दिन देवी दुर्गा के नौ अवतारों में से एक को समर्पित है (अर्थात् शैलपुत्री, ब्रह्मचारिणी, चंद्रघंटा, कुष्मांडा, स्कंदमाता, कात्यायनी, कालरात्रि, महागौरी और सिद्धिदात्री) और हर दिन का इससे जुड़ा एक रंग महत्व है।

देवी दुर्गा के कुछ अनुयायियों में, जो विशेष रूप से बंगाल और असम में प्रमुख हैं, त्योहार को दुर्गा पूजा (“दुर्गा का संस्कार”) के रूप में जाना जाता है या इसके साथ मेल खाता है। भैंस के सिर वाले राक्षस महिषासुर पर अपनी जीत की याद में दुर्गा की विशेष छवियों की प्रतिदिन पूजा की जाती है, और 10 वें दिन (दशहरा) को उन्हें पानी में विसर्जन के लिए पास की नदियों या जलाशयों में ले जाया जाता है। पारिवारिक अनुष्ठानों के अलावा, पूजा, या अनुष्ठान, सार्वजनिक संगीत समारोहों, पाठों, नाटकों और मेलों के साथ भी मनाया जाता है।
