Kargil Vijay Diwas 2022: कारगिल विजय दिवस 1999 में कारगिल युद्ध में पाकिस्तान पर भारत की जीत का जश्न मनाने के लिए हर साल 26 जुलाई को मनाया जाता है। उच्च ऊंचाई पर लड़ा गया युद्ध, हमारे देश के जवानों की वीरता का प्रदर्शन करता है, और उनके बलिदान का सम्मान करने के लिए, कारगिल विजय दिवस हर साल मनाया जाता है।
कारगिल युद्ध 1999 में लद्दाख में उत्तरी कारगिल जिले में पाकिस्तानी सेना के कब्जे का परिणाम था। कहने की जरूरत नहीं है, भारतीय सेना कब्जे वाले क्षेत्र पर नियंत्रण हासिल करने के लिए दृढ़ निश्चित थी और इतिहास के रूप में, उन्होंने ऐसा किया।
Kargil Diwas: युद्ध की शुरुवात

पाकिस्तानी सेना लद्दाख और कश्मीर के बीच की कड़ी को तोड़ने के उद्देश्य से नियंत्रण रेखा के भारतीय हिस्से में प्रवेश करने के लिए एक गुप्त मिशन चला रही थी। उनका दूसरा उद्देश्य भारतीय सैनिकों को सियाचिन ग्लेशियर से हटने के लिए मजबूर करना था। उनकी योजना के बारे में पता चलने के बाद, भारत सरकार ने तुरंत प्रतिक्रिया दी और उस क्षेत्र में लगभग 200,000 भारतीय सैनिकों को जुटाने में कोई समय बर्बाद नहीं किया। उन्होंने इस काउंटर मिशन का नाम ‘ऑपरेशन विजय’ रखा।
The War: युद्ध
पाकिस्तानी सेना ने एक लाभ के साथ युद्ध शुरू किया क्योंकि वे अधिक ऊंचाई पर तैनात थे जिससे उनके लिए अपने भारतीय समकक्षों को गोली मारना आसान हो गया। उन्होंने दो भारतीय लड़ाकू विमानों को मार गिराया और दूसरा दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया। लड़ाई के दौरान, पाकिस्तान ने अमेरिकी हस्तक्षेप की मांग की जब तत्कालीन अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बिल क्लिंटन ने उन्हें एलओसी से अपने सैनिकों को वापस लेने के लिए कहा।

परंपरागत रूप से, कारगिल विजय दिवस पूरे देश में मनाया जाता है। भारत के प्रधान मंत्री हर साल इंडिया गेट पर अमर जवान ज्योति पर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए जाने जाते हैं। तोलोलिंग हिल की तलहटी में द्रास में कारगिल युद्ध स्मारक भी है। यह भारतीय सेना द्वारा बनाया गया था और युद्ध के दौरान अपनी जान गंवाने वाले सैनिकों का सम्मान करता है। दिलचस्प बात यह है कि स्मारक के प्रवेश द्वार पर ‘पुष्प की अभिलाषा’ नाम की एक कविता खुदी हुई है और वहां की स्मारक दीवार पर शहीदों के नाम भी खुदे हुए हैं।
