Gangaur 2024: गणगौर मुख्य रूप से उत्तर भारतीय राज्यों विशेषकर राजस्थान और मध्य प्रदेश, उत्तर प्रदेश, गुजरात और हरियाणा के कुछ हिस्सों में मनाया जाता है।

गणगौर महोत्सव का इतिहास और महत्व

त्योहार के पीछे की कहानी कहती है कि एक बार भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती नारद मुनि के साथ पृथ्वी पर थे। वे एक गाँव में पहुँचे, जहाँ गरीब महिलाओं ने उन्हें दिव्य उपस्थिति के लिए उपलब्ध फल और खाद्य पदार्थ दिए। उनकी भक्ति से देवी गौरी और भगवान शिव प्रसन्न हुए। तब, देवी गौरी ने महिलाओं पर “सुहागरा” छिड़क कर उन्हें स्थायी विवाह का आशीर्वाद दिया।

जब उन ग्रामीण महिलाओं, उच्च वर्ग की महिलाओं को भगवान शिव और देवी पार्वती की उपस्थिति के बारे में जानकारी मिली, तो वे भी महल में आईं और उन्हें विभिन्न स्वादिष्ट व्यंजन पेश किए। भगवान शिव और देवी गुआरी ने उनकी भक्ति स्वीकार कर ली, और जब भगवान शिव ने देवी पार्वती से पूछा कि वह इन महिलाओं को क्या देंगी क्योंकि कोई “सुहुग्रा” नहीं बची थी, तो देवी ने अपनी उंगली काट दी और इन महिलाओं पर रक्त छिड़क दिया। देवी उन्हें भी वैसा ही आशीर्वाद देती हैं।

इस घटना के बाद, देवी पार्वती ने पास की एक नदी में स्नान किया और लिंगम के रूप में भगवान शिव की पूजा की। भगवान शिव उनके सामने प्रकट हुए और घोषणा की कि जो भी विवाहित महिलाएं चैत्र के पहले चंद्र दिवस पर देवी पार्वती और उनकी पूजा करेंगी, उन्हें लंबे वैवाहिक जीवन का आशीर्वाद मिलेगा।

Chaitra Navratri 2024: चैत्र नवरात्रि नौ दिनों का उत्सव है जो हिंदू चंद्र-सौर कैलेंडर के पहले दिन से शुरू होता है और मार्च या अप्रैल के महीने में आता है। चैत्र हिंदू चंद्र कैलेंडर का पहला महीना है और इसके कारण इस नवरात्रि को चैत्र नवरात्रि के रूप में जाना जाता है।

चैत्र नवरात्रि को वसंत नवरात्रि के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। राम नवमी, भगवान राम का जन्मदिन आमतौर पर नवरात्रि उत्सव के दौरान नौवें दिन पड़ता है।

चैत्र नवरात्रि 8 अप्रैल को है  या 9 अप्रैल को ?

इस वर्ष, हिंदू भक्त इस बात को लेकर असमंजस में हैं कि चैत्र नवरात्रि 8 अप्रैल से शुरू होगी या 9. द्रिक पंचांग के अनुसार, चैत्र नवरात्रि 9 अप्रैल से शुरू होगी। यह नौ दिनों तक मनाई जाएगी, 17 अप्रैल को राम नवमी समारोह के साथ समाप्त होगी।
