Khatu Shyam Ji Temple

Khatu Shyam Ji Temple: भगवान श्री खाटू श्याम जी का मंदिर राजस्थान के शेखावाटी क्षेत्र के सीकर जिले में स्थित है। खाटूश्याम मंदिर एक पवित्र हिंदू मंदिर है। श्री खाटूश्याम जी को भगवान श्री कृष्ण का अवतार ही माना जाता है।

बाबा खाटू श्याम का मंदिर बहुत प्राचीन है और महाभारत के समकालीन माना जाता है, लेकिन वर्तमान मंदिर का निर्माण रूप सिंह चौहान और उनकी पत्नी नर्मदा कंवर ने 1027 ईस्वी में करवाया था।

मारवाड़ के शासक ठाकुर के देवन अभय सिंह ने 1720 ई. में ठाकुर के निर्देश पर मंदिर का जीर्णोद्धार कराया। इस समय मंदिर ने अपना वर्तमान आकार ले लिया और मूर्ति को गर्भगृह में बदल दिया गया। मूर्ति दुर्लभ पत्थरों से बनी है।

Khatu Shyam Ji: Story

द्वापर युग के अंतिम चरण में कौरवों और पांडवों ने हस्तिनापुर में शासन किया था। पांडवों के वनवास के दौरान भीम का विवाह हिडिम्बा से हुआ था। और उनका घटोत्कच नाम का एक पुत्र हुआ। घटोत्कच का विवाह कामकटंकटा से हुआ था। और उनका बर्बरीक नाम का एक पुत्र हुआ। जिन्हें माता भगवती जगदम्बा से अजेय होने का वरदान मिला था।

जब महाभारत युद्ध की रणभेरी हुई, तब वीर बर्बर युद्ध देखने की इच्छा से वह कुरु क्षेत्र की ओर चल पड़ा। और श्री कृष्ण के साथ बर्बरीक का मिलान किया गया जो रास्ते में थे।

और विप्र के पूछने पर उसने खुद को योद्धा और दाता बताया। एक परीक्षण के रूप में, उन्होंने पेड़ के एक-एक पत्ते को एक ही तीर से बांध दिया और श्री कृष्ण के चरणों के नीचे पत्ता बांधकर, तीर वापस तारक में चला गया।

जब श्री विपधारी विपधारी ने पूछा तो उन्होंने कहा कि मैं हारे हुए का समर्थन करूंगा। श्री कृष्ण ने कहा कि यदि आप दान हैं तो मातृभूमि के बलिदान के लिए अपना सिर दान में दें। फिर श्रीकृष्ण द्वारा अपना वास्तविक परिचय देने के बाद उन्होंने महाभारत युद्ध देखने की इच्छा व्यक्त की।

रात भर भजन-पूजन करने के बाद प्रात:काल फाल्गुन शुक्ल द्वादशी को स्नान कराकर श्रीकृष्ण को अपना सिर हाथ से दान कर दें। श्री कृष्ण ने उस मस्तक को युद्ध अवलोकन के लिए एक ऊँचे स्थान पर स्थापित कर दिया गया था ।

Khatu Shyam Ji: Fair

फाल्गुन मेला खाटूश्यामजी में मुख्य त्योहार है, यह फाल्गुन (फरवरी / मार्च) के महीने में, अष्टमी से द्वादशी (8 वें से 12 वें दिन), महान भारतीय त्योहार होली से सिर्फ 5 दिन पहले होता है।
