Indian Air Chief Marshal:- भारतीय वायु सेना दुनिया की चौथी सबसे बड़ी वायु सेना है और इसकी स्थापना 8 अक्टूबर, 1932 को हुई थी। भारतीय वायु सेना का प्राथमिक मिशन भारतीय हवाई क्षेत्र को सुरक्षित करना और सशस्त्र संघर्ष के दौरान हवाई युद्ध करना है।
1966 तक “चीफ ऑफ़ एयर मार्शल” को वायु सेना प्रमुख के रूप में नामित किया गया था। भारत के IAF में सर्वोच्च रैंक मार्शल ऑफ़ द एयर फ़ोर्स है, जिसे केवल असाधारण परिस्थितियों में भारत के राष्ट्रपति द्वारा प्रदान किया जाता है।
