Maharana Pratap Biography: Maharana Pratap Singh, widely known as Maharana Pratap, was a valiant Rajput warrior and the ruler of Mewar, a region in present-day Rajasthan, India. He was born on 9 May 1540, in Kumbhalgarh, Rajasthan, and he ascended to the throne of Mewar in 1572 after the death of his father, Maharana Udai Singh II.

Although Maharana Pratap was defeated in this battle, his determination and courage became legendary.

Despite being forced to live in exile for several years after the Battle of Haldighati, Maharana Pratap continued his resistance against the Mughals. He faced numerous challenges and hardships but never gave up his fight for the independence of Mewar.

हल्दीघाटी के युद्ध के बाद कई वर्षों तक निर्वासन में रहने के लिए मजबूर होने के बावजूद, महाराणा प्रताप ने मुगलों के खिलाफ अपना प्रतिरोध जारी रखा। उन्हें कई चुनौतियों और कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा लेकिन उन्होंने मेवाड़ की स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपनी लड़ाई कभी नहीं छोड़ी।

This heroic act allowed Maharana Pratap to escape from the battlefield.

Mahatma Gandhi Biography: Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, better known as Mahatma Gandhi, was a prominent leader in the Indian independence movement against British rule. He was born on 2 October 1869, in Porbandar, a coastal town in present-day Gujarat, India. Gandhi’s life and teachings continue to inspire movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.

मोहनदास करमचंद गांधी, जिन्हें महात्मा गांधी के नाम से जाना जाता है, ब्रिटिश शासन के खिलाफ भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में एक प्रमुख नेता थे। उनका जन्म 2 अक्टूबर, 1869 को भारत के वर्तमान गुजरात के तटीय शहर पोरबंदर में हुआ था। गांधी का जीवन और शिक्षाएं दुनिया भर में नागरिक अधिकारों और स्वतंत्रता के लिए आंदोलनों को प्रेरित करती रहती हैं।

Early Life:

Gandhi was born into a Hindu merchant caste family and studied law in London. He went to South Africa in 1893 to work as a lawyer and became involved in the struggle against racial discrimination faced by Indians in the country. It was in South Africa that he developed his philosophy of nonviolent resistance, or Satyagraha, which would later become his main tool in the fight for India’s independence.

He led various campaigns of nonviolent protest, such as the Salt March in 1930, where he walked 240 miles to the Arabian Sea to protest the British monopoly on salt.

Role in Indian Independence Movement:

Gandhi’s philosophy of nonviolence and civil disobedience inspired millions of Indians to join the Fight for independence. He urged people to boycott British goods, engage in peaceful protests, and refuse to obey unjust laws. His efforts, combined with the sacrifices of millions of Indians, played a significant role in India gaining independence from British rule in 1947.

भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में भूमिका:

Later Life and Assassination:

After India gained independence, Gandhi continued to work for communal peace but was tragically assassinated by a Hindu nationalist on January 30, 1948, in New Delhi.
