सिद्धारमैया ने कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में अपने दूसरे कार्यकाल के लिए डिप्टी सीएम डी के शिवकुमार और आठ राजनेताओं के साथ मंत्रियों के रूप में शपथ ली। कर्नाटक में कांग्रेस पार्टी की भारी विधानसभा चुनाव जीत के बाद मंत्रियों को शामिल किया गया था। यह समारोह बेंगलुरु के कांटेरावा स्टेडियम में हुआ और इसमें हजारों लोगों ने भाग लिया।
