Nahargarh fort: History

The Fort of Nahargarh is Composed of the Aravali ranges surrounded by Jaipur. Keeping in vision the security of the Amer about the edge of this mountain range of Aravali, this fort was made in 1734 by the founder of Sawai King Jai Singh II, Jaipur. In 1868, this fort was ready.

In the span 1883-92, Sawai Madho Singh assembled many palaces in Nahargarh with all the cost of Rs 3 to 3.5 lakh.

Madhavendra Mahal is the most amazing location in Nahargarh Fort. This was created by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya.

Various palaces are built for its nine queens of King Sawai Ram Singh, which are also the most gorgeous ones. Modern facilities were organized for them.

A Number of famous Bollywood movies like Rang De Basanti and Jodhaa Akbar have been taken in Nahargarh Fort.

Nahargarh Fort was the residence of Maharaja, until April 1944, the Jaipur government used it to get office work.

The Nahargarh Fort is also a lavish natural garden situated in the attractive structures of this fort, which will be a special attraction of the fort.

Asiatic lions, Bengal tigers, and Indian leopards can also be found in this biological park. Most notably, 285 species of birds can also be found in the playground, which is very joyful for bird lovers.

Nahargarh Zoological is just another such tourist center, where animals such as Wolf, Panther, Deer, Hyena,  Himalayan black bears, Crocodile, dull bears, Asiatic lion wild boars, Bengal Tiger, etc. . located.
