1. Asia

3. Europe

Nearly 747,636,026 people live in 44 countries on the continent known as Europe. Europe is the only continent without deserts because it lacks them. The continent of Europe was the primary focus of both wars. The smallest nation in the world, Vatican City, is located in Europe. The majority of European nations use the Euro as their single currency. Germany is Europe’s most populous nation, and London and Paris are Europe’s most populous cities.

4. Australia

The “Island Continent” is the name given to this continent in Australia. Additionally, Australia is the smallest continent on Earth. That is a pittance in comparison to Asia. With a population of just 43,111,704 people, Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea are the only three countries on the continent of Australia! Because it is located completely south of the equator, it is referred to as “The Land Down Under.”

5. North America

The only continent with any climate at all is North America: continental, tropical, desert, moderate, and polar There are five time zones in all in North America. North America has 23 nations and approximately 592,072,212 people. North America is home to the United States of America, the largest economy in the world. The world’s largest freshwater lake is “Lake Superior,” one of the Great Lakes. It is on the border between Canada and the United States.

6. South America

South America Part of South America is the Amazon River, the largest river in the world. The continent is also home to the Anaconda, which is one of the largest snakes in the world. Mt. Chimborazo and Mt. Cotopaxi are two of the world’s tallest volcanoes in South America. The population of the continent as a whole is 430,759,766. The largest producer of coffee in the world is Brazil, a country in South America.

7. Antarctica

Antarctica occupies nearly 14.2 million square kilometers during the summer. During the winter, it almost doubles in size due to the enormous volume of sea ice that forms around its periphery. The coldest, driest, windiest, and emptiest continent in the world is Antarctica, making it unsuitable for humans to live there. As a result, it was the only continent without native inhabitants. Nearly 75% of the world’s glaciers are located in Antarctica. It is estimated that the ice is up to 4 kilometers thick.
