Karwa Chauth 2024: करवा चौथ के दिन को करक चतुर्थी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इस साल यह रविवार, 20 अक्टूबर, 2024 को मनाया जाएगा। करवा चौथ के दिन, विवाहित महिलाएँ सूर्योदय से लेकर चंद्रोदय तक व्रत रखती हैं। करवा या करक मिट्टी के बर्तन को कहते हैं, जिसके ज़रिए चाँद को जल चढ़ाया जाता है, जिसे अर्घ कहा जाता है।

हिंदू परंपरा के अनुसार, करवा चौथ महिलाओं के लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है, खासकर जो विवाहित हैं। करवा चौथ के दिन, महिलाएँ सुबह जल्दी उठती हैं, अपने सुबह के काम निपटाती हैं और फिर करवा चौथ पूजा विधि के अनुसार भगवान शिव, पार्वती और गणेश की पूजा करती हैं और फिर कुछ खाती हैं, लेकिन यह सूर्योदय से पहले किया जाता है।

इस दिन की शुरुआत सुबह की एक छोटी सी प्रार्थना से होती है और उसके बाद “सरगी” होती है – एक खाने की थाली जिसमें करी, पराठे, नारियल पानी और सूखे मेवे होते हैं।

करवा चौथ के पीछे की कहानी

करवा चौथ व्रत कथा अक्सर कई किंवदंतियों से जुड़ी होती है, जिनमें से एक सबसे प्रसिद्ध वीरवती की कहानी है, एक रानी जिसके अगाध प्रेम और भक्ति ने उसके पति की जान बचाई। किंवदंती के अनुसार, वीरवती ने शादी के बाद अपना पहला करवा चौथ मनाया। हालाँकि, भूख सहन न कर पाने के कारण वह बेहोश हो गई।

उसके भाइयों ने उसे राहत देने के प्रयास में उसे विश्वास दिलाया कि चाँद उग गया है, जिससे उसे समय से पहले अपना व्रत तोड़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया। दुखद रूप से, कुछ ही समय बाद उसे अपने पति की मृत्यु की खबर मिली। दुखी होकर उसने देवी पार्वती से प्रार्थना की, जिन्होंने उसे पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ अपना व्रत पूरा करने की सलाह दी। चमत्कारिक रूप से, उसके पति को पुनर्जीवित कर दिया गया, जो अटूट विश्वास और प्रेम की शक्ति का प्रतीक है।

Happy Dussehra 2024: इस साल दशहरा 12 अक्टूबर को सुबह 10:58 बजे शुरू होगा और 13 अक्टूबर को सुबह 9:08 बजे समाप्त होगा। यह देश के अधिकांश हिस्सों में 12 अक्टूबर को मनाया जाएगा।

दशहरा, जिसे विजयादशमी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, एक प्रमुख हिंदू त्योहार है जो भगवान राम की रावण पर विजय का जश्न मनाता है। यह राक्षस महिषासुर पर देवी दुर्गा की जीत और नवरात्रि के अंत को चिह्नित करने के लिए भी मनाया जाता है। दशहरा या विजयादशमी बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत का प्रतीक है और हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार, यह अश्विन या कार्तिक महीने के दसवें दिन आता है।

दशहरा उत्सव का महत्व

हिंदू संस्कृति में इस त्यौहार का अपना महत्व है। दशहरा का दिन अच्छाई द्वारा बुराई के अंत का संदेश देता है और यह दिन रामलीला के अंत का भी प्रतीक है और राक्षस राजा रावण पर भगवान राम की जीत का जश्न मनाता है। इस प्रकार, वे इस दिन को एक नई शुरुआत, समाज में नई चीजों की स्थापना और हमारे अंदर मौजूद नकारात्मकता और बुराई से मुक्ति के प्रतीक के रूप में मनाते हैं।
