History of the banking sector in India

The first bank set up in India was the Bank of Hindustan, which was begun in 1770. The Second bank was The General Bank of India, which began in 1786.

The main Indian bank to have been begun exclusively with Indian capital venture is Punjab National Bank.

Union Bank of India was established by Mahatma Gandhi in 1919.

The primary Indian bank to open an abroad branch is the Bank of India. It’s set up a branch in London in 1946.

Lala Lajpat Rai was the organizer of the Punjab National Bank.

The Reserve Bank of India was established in 1935.

The most older existing Public Sector Bank in India is Allahabad Bank.

On 19 July 1969 first time banks were nationalized in India.

The first governor of Reserve bank was ‘Osborne Smith’

Under the Banking Regulations Act, 1949, these banks were nationalized and the Reserve Bank (RBI) of India was nationalized in 1949. These banks are:

क्षेत्रीय लोक नृत्य

ढ़ोल नृत्य :-यह नृत्य जालौर जिले का प्रसिद्ध नृत्य है । विवाह के अवसर पर जालौर के भीनमाल तथा सिवाणा में साँचालिया सम्प्रदाय के पुरूषों द्वारा अत्यन्त कलात्मक एवं चमत्कारित रूप से तलवार मुह में रखकर तथा ढ़ोल बजाकर यह नृत्य किया जाता है । इस नृत्य को “थाकणा” शैली में किया जाता है ।

इस नृत्य को प्रकाश में लाने का श्रेय राज्य के भूतपूर्व मुख्यमंत्री श्री जय नारायण व्यास को जाता है ।

अग्नि नृत्य :- बीकानेर जिले का प्रसिद्ध नृत्य है । इसका उद्गम बीकानेर जिले में स्थित कतियासर गाँव को माना जाता है । माना जाता है कि जसनाथ जी का गुरू गोरखनाथ से साक्षात्कार कतियासर गाँव में हुआ था तथा जसनाथ जी ने यही समाधि ली थी । माना जाता है कि यह नृत्य सर्वप्रथम जसनाथ जी द्वारा किया गया था । यह नृत्य कतियासर, कोड़मदेसर तथा मामलू गाँव में मुख्य रूप से किया जाता है ।इस नृत्य में जसनाथी सम्प्रदाय के सिद्ध लोग धधकते हुए अंगारों के ढ़ेर के चारों ओर पानी का छिड़काव कर जसनाथ जी के गीत गाते हुए फत्ते-फत्ते का नारा लगाते हुए अग्नि पर नृत्य करते है ।यह नृत्य फाल्गुन तथा चैत्र मास में किया जाता है ।

इस नृत्य को सर्वाधिक संरक्षण बीकानेर के तत्कालीन महाराजा गंगासिंह द्वारा प्रदान किया गया ।

ढ़फ नृत्य :- यह नृत्य शेखावाटी क्षेत्र का प्रसिद्ध है, इस क्षेत्र में ढ़फ एवं मंजीरों की सहायता से यह नृत्य किया जाता है |

चंग नृत्य :- शेखावाटी क्षेत्र का प्रसिद्ध यह नृत्य केवल पुरूषों द्वारा वृत्ताकार रूप में किया जाता है । इस नृत्य में प्रत्येक पुरूष के पास चंग होता है तथा वे चंग बजाते हुए नृत्य करते है ।

गीदड़ नृत्य :- यह नृत्य भी शेखावाटी क्षेत्र का ही प्रसिद्ध है । होली के अवसर पर डंडा रोपण से होली दहन तक केवल पुरुषों द्वारा किया जाता है। इस नृत्य में कुछ पुरूषों द्वारा स्त्रियों का स्वांग धरते है, जिन्हे गणगौर कहते है। यह नृत्य नगाड़े की सहायता से किया जाता है ।

बम नृत्य :- यह नृत्य राज्य के मेवात क्षेत्र (अलवर, भरतपुर) का प्रसिद्ध है। यह नृत्य होली के अवसर पर नई फसल आने की खुशी में केवल पुरूषों द्वारा तीन भागों में विभक्त होकर नगाड़ें की ताल पर किया जाता है । इस नृत्य में बम नामक वाद्य यंत्र का प्रयोग होता है, जोकि नंगाडे का बड़ा रूप होता है ।

बिंदोरी नृत्य :- यह नृत्य राज्य के झालावाड़ जिले का प्रसिद्ध है । यह गैर शैली का नृत्य है । यह नृत्य होली या विवाहोत्सव पर किया जाता है ।

मोहिनी नृत्य :- यह नृत्य राज्य के कांठल क्षेत्र अर्थात प्रतापगढ़ का प्रसिद्ध है । इस नृत्य में महिलाएँ वृत्ताकार पथ बनाते हुए नृत्य करती है ।

हरणों नृत्य :- यह नृत्य मेवाड़ क्षेत्र के बालकों द्वारा दीपावली के अवसर पर किया जाता है । इस नृत्य को लोबड़ी नाम से भी जाना जाता है ।

डाँग नृत्य :- यह नृत्य राजसमन्द जिले का प्रसिद्ध है । इसको होली के अवसर पर किया जाता है ।

चोगोला नृत्य :- यह नृत्य राज्य के डूंगरपुर जिले में महिलाओं व पुरूषों द्वारा होली के चारों ओर घुमकर नृत्य किया जाता है ।

पेजण नृत्य :- राज्य के वागड़ क्षेत्र का प्रसिद्ध नृत्य दीपावली के अवसर पर किया जाने वाला प्रमुख नृत्य है ।

डाड़िया नृत्य :- यह नृत्य मारवाड़ क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधि नृत्य है । इसमें पुरुष अपने हाथों में लकड़ी के डंडे रखते है तथा उन्हें आपस में टकराते हुए गोलाकार रूप में नृत्य करते है । इस नृत्य में डफ, बांसूरी तथा नगाड़े का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

चारकुला नृत्य :- यह नृत्य मुख्य रूप से उत्तरप्रदेश राज्य के ब्रजक्षेत्र का प्रसिद्ध है । यह नृत्य राज्य के भरतपुर जिले में मुख्य रूप से किया जाता है । इस नृत्य में महिलाए धातु के बर्तन में दीपक रखकर उसे अपने सिर पर रखकर नृत्य करती है ।

कीलियो-बारीयो नृत्य :- यह पश्चिमी राजस्थान अर्थात मारवाड़ क्षेत्र का प्रसिद्ध नृत्य है । मारवाड़ क्षेत्र में नये जवाई के आगमन की खुशी में किया जाता है ।

लांगुरियां नृत्य :- यह नृत्य करौली रियासत की यदुवंशी शासकों की कुलदेवी कैलादेवी से सम्बन्धित है ।

घूमर-गैर नृत्य :- यह नृत्य राज्य के भीलवाड़ा क्षेत्र का प्रसिद्ध है । यह नृत्य महिलाओं के घूमर एवं पुरूषों के डांडिया तथा गैर का मिश्रण है । प्रमुख वाद्य यंत्र ढ़ोल, बांकिया आदि है ।

झांझी नृत्य :- यह नृत्य मारवाड़ क्षेत्र में महिलाओं द्वारा किया जाता है इस नृत्य में महिलाएं अपने सिर पर छिद्रित मटके रखकर नृत्य करती है।

कानुड़ा नृत्य :- यह नृत्य राज्य के बाडमेर जिले के चौहटन क्षेत्र में कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के अवसर पर महिलाओं तथा पुरूषों द्वारा सम्मिलित रूप से किया जाता है ।

खारी नृत्य :- यह नृत्य राज्य के मेवात क्षेत्र में किया जाता है । यह नृत्य लड़की के विवाह के अवसर पर विदाई के समय दूल्हन की सहेलियों द्वारा किया जाता है ।

सूकर नृत्य :- राज्य के दक्षिणी भाग के आदिवासी बाहुल्य क्षेत्र में मुख्य रूप से बांसवाड़ा जिले में मुख पर सुकर लोकदेवता का मुखौटा लगाकर यह नृत्य किया जाता है । इस नृत्य का प्रचलन केवल राजस्थान में ही है । यह नृत्य वर्तमान में अपना अस्तित्व खोने के कगार पर है ।

What is known as a Ramsar site?

Any wetland site which is recorded under the Ramsar Convention that plans to save it and advance practical use of its normal assets are known as a Ramsar Site.

On 2 February 1971, the International Treaty for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Wetlands was endorsed at a city of Iran called Ramsar, henceforth the name Ramsar Sites.
